After the news of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal holding a meeting with the high officials of Punjab, CM Bhagwant Mann came under the target of opponents. At the same time, Mann has reached Delhi to meet Kejriwal today.
The Punjab government is caught in a new controversy. Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal takes a meeting of Punjab officials in Delhi. According to sources, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann was not present in this meeting. Now Congress and Captain Amarinder Singh have surrounded Bhagwant Mann on this meeting.
Newly appointed Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Vading tweeted that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with Punjab Chief Secretary Anirudh Tiwari, Secretary Power Dalip Kumar and PSPCL Chairman Baldev Singh Saran. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Power Minister Harbhajan Singh were not present in this meeting. However, MP Raghav Chadha and Delhi minister Satyendar Jain attended the meeting.
Vading said – Has the CM bowed his head too?
Vading questioned whether Punjab was a puppet of Delhi. In what capacity and on what issue was this meeting held? CM Bhagwant Mann make it public. After this, he took a jibe at Mann that he had bowed his head, now has he bowed his head too? He questioned whether the ‘senior officers’ of Punjab would now attend Arvind Kejriwal’s court? Is Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann just a nominal head? This is called catching ‘Reebuk’ by showing ‘Reebok’!
Sidhu said – let the storms become reality
Former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu also questioned CM Bhagwant Mann in this matter. Sidhu tweeted that let the storms come to reality, don’t know which gust will blow away the masks of the deaf… IAS officers of Punjab were summoned by Arvind Kejriwal in the absence of CM Bhagwant Mann. This exposes the Delhi Remote Control. This is a clear violation of federalism and an insult to Punjabi pride. Both the leaders should give clarification on this.
Sukhpal Khaira sought clarification from Bhagwant Mann
After this, Congress leader Sukhpal Khaira retweeted Vading’s tweet and said that this is gross interference in the region of Punjab by outsiders which is completely unacceptable! Bhagwant Mann should clarify his position and reprimand the officials for bypassing the CM and the minister. Congress leader Pargat Singh said that CM Bhagwant Mann should immediately clarify in what capacity Arvind Kejriwal summoned the Punjab Chief Secretary and other high officials. If true, it is a betrayal of the mandate of Punjab and a betrayal of the people of Punjab.
Captain’s taunt – what he feared happened
At the same time, former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh also raised questions on this meeting. He said that what he was afraid of, that happened. Arvind Kejriwal has captured Punjab much earlier than expected. Bhagwant Mann is a rubber stamp. Kejriwal has proved it right by presiding over the meeting of Punjab officers in Delhi.
