Senior Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia was heard in a Mohali court on Tuesday in a case related to drug smuggling worth crores. During this, he was produced in the court through video conferencing. After hearing all the sides, the court has extended Majithia’s judicial custody till May 4. However, no petition of any kind was filed by Majithia’s lawyers in the court during this period. On the last hearing, orders were given to the jail authority to provide them all basic facilities and proper security in the jail.

The previous SIT probing the matter had a three-member team headed by AIG Balraj Singh.
