On Wednesday morning, in connection with the same case, the Punjab Police reached the residence of poet Kumar Vishwas in Ghaziabad. This team of police had arrived to give summons. Actually, Ropar police has registered a case on April 12 under 153, 153A, 323, 341, 506, 120B and 125 Representation of the People Act and now Kumar Vishwas has been asked to join the investigation and produce evidence in this case. Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections, the police have registered a case against Arvind Kejriwal on the basis of Kumar Vishwas’s video.

The complainant said that
The complainant said that when he along with his supporters of Aam Aadmi Party was roaming in the villages for redressal of people’s grievances, some unidentified masked men stopped him and called him ‘Khalistani’. Since then such incidents have been happening regularly. It all started when Kumar Vishwas made a provocative statement against AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal on news channels/social media platforms alleging AAP’s links with separatist elements.

As a result of this statement and video, there is a possibility of disturbance in the peaceful atmosphere of Punjab. According to the police, Kumar Vishwas has been given a notice to produce evidence in support of his allegations. The matter is being investigated as per facts and law.

What did ropar police say
Ropar SP Harbir Singh Atwal informed in this regard that a person has given a complaint to the police that he was roaming in the area of ​​Ropar, some people stopped him and called the Aam Aadmi Party pro-Khalistan and raised slogans. The complainant said that it started when Kumar Vishwas released the video calling Aam Aadmi Party pro-Khalistan. He said that the police had not come to raid Kumar Vishwas’s house but to summon him. If he wants to present his side in this matter, then he can come to Ropar and tell.
