The Dera chief had already got bail in the sacrilege case related to the theft of the holy form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and in this case he has also filled the bailable bond in the lower court.
CJM Monica Lamba’s court on Friday granted relief to Gurmeet Ram Rahim, chief of Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa, chargesheet in all three incidents of Bargadi sacrilege case of 2015. The court has granted bail to Ram Rahim in the cases of putting up controversial posters (FIR No. 117) and sacrilege of holy Swaroop (FIR No. 128). In both the cases, the court has ordered Ram Rahim to bond 50-50 thousand.
Ram Rahim got anticipatory bail from the Punjab Haryana High Court in the holy Swaroop theft case (FIR No. 63) related to the sacrilege case, on the basis of which he has also paid a bond of 50 thousand in the lower court in the said case.
According to the information, a total of three incidents had come to the fore during the Bargadi sacrilege case and the SIT of Punjab Police has also chargesheeted the Dera chief in all three incidents of theft, putting up disputed posters and sacrilege of the holy form. In all these three cases, a few days ago, the Dera chief had to appear in the court of Faridkot through video conferencing and on the same day the lawyers of the Dera chief had given anticipatory bail from the Punjab Haryana High Court in the Pavan Swaroop Theft Case (FIR No. 63). On the basis, he had a surety bond of 50 thousand filled in the Faridkot court. Ram Rahim’s lawyer Kewal Singh Brar told that in the sacrilege case, the Dera chief had also filed a petition for regular bail in the remaining two cases (FIR No. 117 and 128), which was approved by the court of CJM Monica Lamba on Friday. .
