Former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh expressed deep grief over the killing of two Sikhs. He tweeted that the government of Pakistan has always been showing off about the security of Hindus and Sikhs.

Punjab appeared united in the case of killing of two Sikh youths in Peshawar city of Pakistan. All political parties in the state have condemned the incident. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann appealed to the External Affairs Minister to hold talks with the Pakistan government. The leaders of Punjab BJP demanded the Pak government to arrest the accused at the earliest and give them capital punishment.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann condemned the incident by tweeting on Sunday. He has appealed to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to hold talks with the Pakistan government at the earliest. Mann also demanded protection of the people of Hindu and Sikh communities living in Pakistan. At the same time, Punjab BJP state president Ashwani Sharma has strongly condemned the murder and expressed grief.

Expressing condolences with the families of the deceased, Sharma said that a lot of atrocities are being committed on Sikhs and Hindus in Pakistan. Even sisters and daughters of Sikhs and Hindus are being forcibly kidnapped, raped and converted to religion. The Government of Pakistan and their administration has proved unsuccessful in curbing these incidents. Sharma demanded the Pakistan government and the administration there to find the accused at the earliest and give them the death penalty as per Islamic law. At the same time, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal also condemned the incident.
