Farmers protest: Farmers held meeting in Mohali, said- will not return till their demands are met

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, after returning from Delhi late on Tuesday night, said that this decision of the farmers was not proper. He is also the son of a farmer and understands the pain of the farmers very well.

The farmers sitting on the Mohali border, putting up a firm front against the Punjab government, held an emergency meeting on Wednesday morning at Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib. The farmers said that they would stand on the Chandigarh-Mohali border. For now, we will not travel to Chandigarh. The eyes of the farmers are fixed on the meeting of the Punjab cabinet. Farmer leaders said that we will not go back until our demands are met. The farmers say that they have not reached the Chandigarh border immediately, but talks were going on with the government for a long time. When the talks did not work out, he chose this path.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, after returning from Delhi late on Tuesday night, said that this decision of the farmers was not proper. He is also the son of a farmer and understands the pain of the farmers very well. He said that the solution to the whole problem would be found only through dialogue. On the other hand, farmers say that they have been engaged in resolving this matter for a long time. The government is doing things by talking points. If the notification is issued then all the problems will be solved.

Weather became the helper of the farmers
On Tuesday night, farmers spent the night on roads and footpaths under the open sky. Although the heat was high at night, but there has been some relief from the late night rain. There are clouds over the protest site. Farmers from many districts are reaching the Chandigarh-Mohali border. Arrangements have been made for tea etc. at the dharna site.

No entry from YPS Chowk to Mohali
If you want to go from Mohali to Chandigarh or to come from Chandigarh to Mohali, then do not choose the bypass road, because the farmers’ struggle is going on there. Traffic is closed on this road. Apart from this, traffic is going on smoothly on all other roads. All the arrangements have been made by the police.
