Mild symptoms were observed in the patient and he has received both the doses of corona vaccine. Earlier a person from Hyderabad returning from South Africa was also found infected with the same variant.
Insacog says that now a case of BA.5 variant of Corona has also come to the fore. This case has come from Telangana. Mild symptoms have also been found in a patient infected with BA.5 and he too has received both doses of the vaccine. The patient does not have a travel history. The consortium said that after receiving the patients, contact tracing work has been started as a precautionary measure.
