Government’s decision: Paper stamps ended in Punjab, e-stamps started

E-Stamps of all denominations can henceforth be obtained from any Stamp seller or Bank authorized by the Government of Punjab.

The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has abolished the paper stamp. With this, the government has also started e-stamp. This initiative will save Rs 35 crore annually on printing of stamp papers. Minister Brahm Shankar Zimpa said that people will be able to get e-stamp at any cost in a hassle free manner. E-Stamps of all denominations can henceforth be obtained from any Stamp seller or Bank authorized by the Government of Punjab.
