Fireman recruitment rigging case: The accused disclosed that the deal to pass the examination was done for five to eight lakhs, a soldier was also suspected

The police have captured the photographs of the candidates taken during the written examination. It has been revealed from the photographs that not only the physical examination of the arrested candidates but also the written examination was given by someone else. Police has started searching for those accused.

The rigging has been exposed in the recruitment process of the fire department. During the remand, the accused told the police during interrogation that for the recruitment of firemen, a deal was done with the candidates for five to eight lakh rupees. It was decided to pass both the written and physical examination. The role of a Chandigarh Police constable has also been revealed in the case.

The police have started interrogation by including the constable in the investigation. In the recruitment process, so far seven accused, who were giving physical examination instead of others, have been arrested. After interrogation, the police sent everyone to jail. At the same time, on their behest, the police has started investigating the suspects who took the examination instead of others.

The Municipal Corporation is recruiting 364 regular posts in the fire department. These include 300 firemen, four station officers and 60 drivers. PU had conducted the written examination. After this physical examination was conducted in May. On May 18, three fake candidates were caught giving physical examination instead of the other for the recruitment of Fireman post in Police Lines, Sector-26.
During the verification of documents, the photograph and signature on the form did not match. After this, two real candidates were arrested on the spot of the three fake candidates. The arrested Aman, Vikram Singh and Anand were the original candidates, whereas Vikas, a resident of Hisar, Vijay Kumar, a resident of Kaithal, and Vineet, a resident of Jhajjar, had come for physical examination. Of these, police have arrested Aman, Vikram, Vikas, Vijay, Vineet while Anand is still absconding.

On the other hand, Naveen Kumar, a resident of Sector-43, wrote a letter to the Chief Vigilance Officer, questioning the written examination of this recruitment. He wrote in the letter that the papers were not in a sealed cover. The candidates were carrying mobiles and other electronic devices. The OMR sheet was also given only one instead of three. The written recruitment test was conducted by PU.

Breakup in written examination too, fake candidates seen in footage
The police have captured the photographs of the candidates taken during the written examination. It has been revealed from the photographs that not only the physical examination of the arrested candidates but also the written examination was given by someone else. Police has started searching for those accused. It is clear in the footage that someone else took the written test instead of Anand, Vikram, Aman and Sumit. At the same time, instead of Anand, Vikram and Aman, other people also gave physical examination. Instead of Aman, a young man named Prateek alias Ilu had given the written examination. He also appeared in the BSF exam for the post of ASI. He was arrested by Gurugram Police in the year 2021.

Anand’s brother-in-law also involved, quitting his bank job and started the game
The police are also looking for Anand’s brother-in-law Somveer. According to police sources,
Somveer and the suspect in the case have a hostel near Singhpura Light Point in Zirakpur. Vineet, who came to take the exam instead of Anand, stayed in the same hostel. Somveer was a manager in a bank in Gurugram. If he liked the business of passing the recruitment examination through fake candidates, then he left the job of the bank.
