Jalandhar Literary Forum in collaboration with Sahyog Society and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Society Mota Singh Nagar has established water feeders for birds in the parks.

Jalandhar, June 5, Jalandhar Literary Forum celebrated World Environment Day today by distributing water feeders for birds in different areas. The Forum was supported in this work by the Society, New Jawahar Nagar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, Mota Singh Nagar and New Colony Society, Johal Market. The event was led by Advocate Navjot Singh, Convener of the Forum, while Secretary Manav Khurana was the Project Director of the campaign.


On this occasion earthen bowls were kept in the parks to provide water to the birds and people were presented on the roofs of their houses for the same purpose. During this, public awareness towards the environment was done in association with the words of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, ‘Pawan Guru Pani Pita Mata Dharat Mahat’.

On the other hand, this morning the Forum presented books to Kitaban da Alana Public Library located in Urban Phase 2 Market.

It was informed that if the environment is not kept safe, the life of every part of nature will be in danger. On this occasion, Forum’s Co-Convenor Rakesh Shantidoot, Secretary Tajinder Pal Singh Bablu, Executive Member Dr. Vikram Chadda, Baby Amrita Khurana, Master Akshat Shaheed Bhagat Singh Society President Gurinder Pal Singh Tinku, Inder Mohan Setia, Rajan Ahuja, Naresh Thapar, J. K Sehgal, Jatinder Singh Chawla, Ashwani Gupta, H P Singh Heat 7, Paramjit Jeet, New Colony Society President Surjit Singh Rana, Gurjit Singh Nijjar, Manmohan Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Naresh Kumar, Akshay Kumar, Paramjit Singh and others were present. .
