Vehicles are constantly being checked at the entrances of Amritsar. Blockade was done at 90 places through barricading. Along with this 110 PCR teams are continuously patrolling the city.

On the anniversary of Operation Blue Star, the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, kept in memory of the martyrs, was offered at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on Monday. During this, separatist slogans were raised inside and outside Shri Akal Takht. The Jathedar of Shri Akal Takht, Giani Harpreet Singh gave a message to the community, while Dhyan Singh Mand, the executive Jathedar appointed by Sarbat Khalsa, targeted the Shiromani Akali Dal and SGPC over the sacrilege cases.

The relatives of those killed in this operation also reached Shri Akal Takht. Working Jathedar Dhyan Singh Mand, made in Sarbat Khalsa, Simranjit Singh Mann of Shiromani Akali Dal (Mann), Kanwarpal Singh Bittu of Dal Khalsa, Baldev Singh Sirsa and leaders of All India Sikh Students Federation also reached Akal Takht Sahib.

Shri Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh said that Sikh organizations should start training for shooting in Gatka Akhara. When we are weak religiously and socially, we also become weak politically. The number of Sikhs is decreasing in the marginal villages. He said that religious preachers should come out and spread the word of Sikhism while fulfilling their responsibility.

Mand targets SGPC
Jathedar Dhyan Singh Mand and leaders of Sikh Student Federation targeted SGPC and Shiromani Akali Dal. Jathedar Mand reached Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib on Ghallughara day and raised questions on Akali Dal and SGPC saying that SAD is the biggest enemy of Sikhs. Because when the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji was done, neither there was any sit-in demonstration from the SAD nor any statement from the SGPC. Now they have remembered the release of the captive lions. Why didn’t he remember it when he was in power? He said that the Sikh community would itself take steps for the release of the captive Singhs and now SAD and SGPC need not make any effort for this. Accusing the central government, he said that the Indian government was deliberately not conducting the elections to the SGPC.

12 gates of the city sealed

At the same time, a large number of police forces were deployed on the way to the Golden Temple. While a large number of SGPC Task Force personnel were deployed inside the Sachkhand Shri Harmandir Sahib complex.

Amritsar Commissioner AP Singh said that security was tightened for Ghallughara week. This included, in addition to the commissionerate police, the district-state police and paramilitary forces. The program ended peacefully.
