- Aam Aadmi Party leader and Punjab co-in-charge Raghav Chadha have written a letter to the Lokayukta amid allegations of an alleged scam in the purchase of Corona Fateh kits in Punjab. In the letter, Chadha demanded legal action against the persons responsible. On the other hand, the BJP also attacked the Punjab government regarding the whole episode. However, the Shiromani Akali Dal has kept silent on this issue.
The BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party are tense about the alleged scam in Punjab Corona Fateh kit purchase. AAP’s Punjab co-in-charge has written a letter to the Lokayukta demanding action in this matter. At the same time, the BJP has accused Captain Sarkar of breaking all the records of corruption. The Shiromani Akali Dal leaders kept silent on the matter on the second day of their dharna at the residence of the Health Minister.
In a letter to the Lokayukta, AAP has demanded that legal action be taken against political and administrative persons responsible for causing huge economic loss to the exchequer of Punjab during the pandemic.
Raghav Chadha said that he is writing this complaint to fulfill his responsibility as a Punjabi, a public representative, and co-in-charge of the main opposition party of Punjab. Presently Punjab is reeling under the devastating and deadly attack of the second wave of COVID-19 and has the highest death rate in the state, hence the need for a special investigation into these scams.
At the same time, BJP General Secretary Dr. Subhash Sharma gave the title of the government of scams to Captain Sarkar and said that the leaders of the Congress party have made it an opportunity to earn money for themselves by leaving the people of the state to die in the corona epidemic. First, the ration scam, then the Corona vaccine scam, and now the scam in the purchase of Fateh kits, don’t know how many scams this government has done.
So far no big leader has issued a statement from Shiromani Akali Dal in this matter. Whereas in Mohali, SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and other big leaders even gheraoed the residence of the Health Minister in the matter of selling the vaccine to private hospitals.
