According to party sources, a demand for change of leadership in the state was made by the Sidhu camp during this period. However, Sidhu did not say anything special on this occasion. Rawat rejected his demand outright. He told everyone that elections are near, so it is necessary to work firmly on the organization.

Demand to file a case against Rawat
Meanwhile, Daljit S Cheema of Shiromani Akali Dal has demanded the registration of a case against Harish Rawat.
