Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has appealed to the External Affairs Minister to rescue 200 Sikhs trapped in the Gurdwara during the Taliban attack in Afghanistan. By tweeting, he has said that the Punjab government will do everything possible to save the people. The Punjab Chief Minister has already expressed concern over the Taliban occupation in Afghanistan.

On Monday, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has tweeted that he has appealed to Foreign Minister Dr. Jai Shankar to save 200 Sikhs, including others in the gurdwara, during the Taliban occupation in Afghanistan. At the same time, he has also assured that the Punjab government will do its best in whatever help is needed to save the people in Afghanistan. Earlier on Sunday, the captain has expressed concern about the Taliban occupation in Afghanistan by tweeting. Earlier, on the 75th anniversary of independence, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh lashed out at Pakistan. “We will not tolerate any kind of aggression or attack in our territory,” he said. If they try to be courageous, we will teach them (Pakistan) their life-long lesson. On 75th Independence Day, Captain Amarinder Singh vowed to protect the border state of Punjab from the nefarious designs of Pakistan. He even resolved to continue the fight with the farmers to repeal the Centre’s ‘black agricultural laws’.
