His name was in the list of terrorists submitted by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, who came to India in February 2018, but the Canadian government has not taken any action against Nijjar. Pamma was involved in petty crime till 1992, after two years he moved to Germany, from there he reached Pakistan and joined Babbar Khalsa International. Initially, he was close to Wadhwa Singh.
