Captain Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu are meeting the leaders of their respective factions. The rounds of meetings between both groups are going on. But the ruckus inside the party is not stopping. The Congress high command is also eyeing the party’s Punjab unit. This tussle of the party just before the assembly elections has increased the concern of the high command.
The disgruntled section of Punjab Congress is preparing to intensify the campaign to remove Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. Signs of this were found when Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, and Kulbir Singh Zeera reached MLA Pargat Singh’s house located at MLA Hostel. The meeting took place very secretly but could not remain hidden from the media.
After the meeting, when journalists asked Minister Tript Singh Randhawa about this, he got very angry and left saying that everything cannot be told to the media. It is noteworthy that these four leaders of the Punjab Congress are prominent faces of the anti-Captain camp. It is believed that the party high command has announced to fight the upcoming assembly elections under the leadership of Captain Amarinder Singh, after which the opposition camp has started making a fresh strategy.
