All is not well in Punjab Congress. Congress’s Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat had said this a few days back. The reason for this is the emergence of new differences among the party leaders. Now Navjot Singh Sidhu’s advisor Pyare Lal Garg targeted the Punjab Congress and accused the party of playing the religious card. Let us tell you that a few days ago, due to the controversial remark case, another advisor of Sidhu, Malvinder Singh Mali had to resign.
Shortly after the party got rid of Malvinder Singh Mali, advisor to state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, who made controversial remarks, another advisor to Sidhu, Pyare Lal Garg, has now created trouble for the Congress by targeting the Captain Amarinder Singh government. Done.
Garg questioned the Punjab government convening a special session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly dedicated to Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, accusing the Congress of playing the card of religion under the guise of the Constitution. Taking to social media, Garg said that the Congress, through the Punjab government, also issued a whip to the legislators for a one-day special session, which is not only an insult to democracy but by doing so religious fundamentalism has been promoted through the Constitution.
Garg also alleged that Congress took away their religious freedom by issuing whips to their MLAs. Congress has been describing itself as a secular party but under the guise of constitutional compulsion to convene the assembly session, the party played the card of religion. He said that Guru Sahib had sacrificed only for the freedom of religion.
Garg said that the Constitution of India talks of freedom of religious thought, but if the RSS does the same thing as the Congress has done, then they too will not be held wrong. Simultaneously, Sidhu’s advisor expressed his opinion that the assembly should stay away from matters of religion. Even if Captain Sarkar had to organize a special event in such a case, at least the whip should not have been issued to the MLAs.
A controversial statement was given earlier on Captain
It is noteworthy that earlier, Garg had justified the criticism of Pakistan by the Captain and said that Punjab may have to suffer due to this. Garg had also alleged that the Captain was in touch with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. There was a lot of controversy over this statement of Garg, but neither Garg nor Sidhu considered it necessary to issue any clarification in this matter.
The first advisor’s leave under pressure from the high command
Before the latest episode, Navjot Sidhu had to sack another of his advisor Malvinder Mali under heavy pressure from the Congress high command. Mali, like Garg, had come under attack from Congress for his controversial comments on social media. In fact, Mali had earlier said in his statement, describing Kashmir as a separate country, that Kashmir is illegally occupied by India and Pakistan. On this statement, the Congress high command was targeted by the BJP and it became difficult for the Congress to respond. After this, Mali posted on his Facebook page former Prime Minister Late. A controversial poster of Indira Gandhi was put up as a cover photo. This too faced heavy opposition in Congress. Eventually, under pressure from the high command, Mali gave up his post of advisor.
