Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and State Congress Committee President Navjot Singh Sidhu have reached the Delhi Durbar for the selection of the new cabinet of the state. It is believed that while preparing the list of MLAs to be included in Chief Minister Channi’s cabinet, ‘captain supporters or opponents’ have also been kept in mind.

Earlier, after the resignation of Captain, the tussle that emerged within the party while choosing the new leader of the legislature party and then choosing two deputy CMs, it is being speculated that at least six leaders will be discharged from the Captain’s cabinet. And six other MLAs who were in the Sidhu camp will get the minister’s chair.

Apart from Mohindra, another name is that of Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, who had complained to the high command about Sidhu. The third name is that of Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, who continued to issue open statements against the Sidhu camp. Apart from these, it is believed that Gurpreet Singh Kangar, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, and Vijay Inder Singla can be cut.

At the same time, speculations are being made about the new faces in the cabinet that Navjot Sidhu first wants Pargat Singh to be crowned as a minister because Pargat was closest to him during the last four and a half years and he has supported Sidhu on every occasion. Apart from these, the names of Raja Vading, Kuljeet Nagra, Sangat Singh Giljian, Gurkeerat Kotli, Rajinder Beri are leading.
