The followers of Dera Sacha Sauda have been receiving constant threats ever since their names surfaced in the Bargadi sacrilege case. Mahinderpal Bittu, a member of the Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa Provincial Committee, who was made the main accused in this incident, was murdered by two prisoners in Nabha Jail about two years ago.

Concerns of the Punjab Police have increased over the security of the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa, named in the 2015 Bargarhi sacrilege case. Some unknown youths reached the house of Shakti Singh, a resident of village Daggoromana, an accused in this incident.

Although these people returned due to not being at Shakti Singh’s house, Shakti Singh and his family have given a complaint to the district police and requested them to investigate the whole matter. This accused has also been caught in the CCTV camera installed outside the house, on the basis of which the police have started an investigation, and security personnel has also been deployed outside Shakti Singh’s house.

According to the information, the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda have been receiving constant threats since the name came to the fore in the Bargadi sacrilege case. Although security was provided to the rest of the accused after that, these days the police withdrew the security. Now after the suspicious people came to Shakti Singh’s house, the police have once again deployed security personnel outside the houses of the accused who are on bail.

Shakti Singh has been named in the three incidents related to the Bargadi sacrilege case, theft of the holy form, putting up controversial posters, and desecrating the holy form and is currently out on bail.
