Adults are being vaccinated very fast, but children have not yet received the corona vaccine. Soon the wait for children’s vaccinations will be over. But before that, the government is preparing a list for the already sick children, which may take two weeks to complete. Talking to a newspaper on Wednesday, Dr. NK Arora, Chairman, National Immunization Technical Advisory Committee, said that as adults, the problem in children is completely different. Children do not die of heart attacks and they do not have liver problems. They do not have lifestyle diseases. However, congenital and incurable diseases are found in children. Keeping this in mind, a new list is being prepared.
Dr. Arora said that this work is being done on the basis of scientific evidence and so far many things have come under discussion. He said that after two weeks this list will be made public, but before that, it will also be sent to the state governments, after which these children will be identified and given the vaccine in every district.
